There may be some slight redness and swelling at the injection site, which subsides within a few hours. In rare cases, bruising may occur. It takes approximately 10 to 14 days for the treatment to take full effect. The benefits will last for 3-4 months depending on how quickly your body metabolizes the treatment, at which point a follow-up visit is required to maintain the results.
Fillers
Some swelling can occur around the filler treatment area. The results from a filler treatment take effect immediately, with the filler substance taking about 7 to 14 days to fully settle into place. Depending on the area that is treated, as well as how quickly your body metabolizes the treatment, the results can last from 6 to 12 months. Follow-up treatments are required to sustain the benefits.
