Our Team

Dr. Macias graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California with an honours degree in Psychobiology. He earned his medical doctorate from Harvard Medical School and received surgical training during his internship in general surgery at the University of California San Francisco. He completed his training in medical and cosmetic dermatology in New York City. During his medical education, Dr. Macias developed a fascination with the science and art of dermatology. Realizing that no specialty offered a greater variety of patients or interesting cases, he was inspired to become a dermatologist and run his own private practice.

Establishing a trusting relationship with his patients is a vital part of Dr. Macias’ philosophy. His ability to address every patient’s skin concerns with sensitivity and empathy, along with his expert knowledge, has nurtured a bounty of referrals from his patients and physician colleagues alike. Dr. Macias’ practice serves a diverse set of patients representing a broad spectrum of skin disorders. His treatment regimens are constantly evolving to reflect the newest advances in the areas of general, surgical and cosmetic dermatology.

Throughout his medical training, Dr. Macias has been actively involved in teaching and writing on various topics pertaining to medical dermatology; he recently authored a lead article on “Superantigens in Dermatology,” which graced the cover of the March 2011 issue of the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Dr. Macias is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and is on staff at the local hospital. He is licensed in California and is fluent in Spanish.

Stephen was born and raised in the Central Valley. He graduated from Fresno State in 2015 with a degree in Public Health. While attending college he worked as a medical scribe in the emergency department at St. Agnes and after graduating began working at Macias Dermatology as a medical assistant. While working at Macias Dermatology, Stephen developed a passion for dermatologic skin conditions.

Stephen had a desire to further his education and attended Chapman University where he received his Masters in Physician Assistant studies. He is a board certified PA. He has returned to the office and has been practicing full time for the last 2 years in hopes to continue serving our patients in every way possible. Stephen enjoys getting outdoors, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Halli brings a wealth of experience in aesthetic medicine to Macias Dermatology, delivered with warmth and a keen focus on excellence and innovation in her field. Having started her career as a medical aesthetician, her commitment to advancing her skills and expertise led her to pursue a higher education. Over six years, she honed her passion for skin care and anti-aging treatments as she trained to become a Registered Nurse, later obtaining a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. Her nursing experience includes three years working in the field of plastic surgery providing peri-operative patient care. At Macias Dermatology, she has championed microneedling–a treatment that has gained a large following in Hollywood for its non-invasive skin resurfacing benefits. Her extensive experience and training lends to a particularly sought after aesthetic; Halli is known for beautiful natural results.
