Erin Freitas

Erin Freitas is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in medical, surgical, and aesthetic dermatology. After earning her bachelor’s degree in Communication with summa cum laude honors, she followed her passion for skin health and became a licensed esthetician in 2005. Erin later pursued nursing, graduating valedictorian of her nursing class before earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with summa cum laude honors and completing her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is also a Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist (CANS).

At Macias Dermatology, Erin provides comprehensive medical and surgical dermatologic care, treating a wide variety of skin conditions and performing procedures for skin cancers, cysts, lipomas, and other cutaneous lesions. Having personally experienced melanoma, she is especially passionate about skin cancer prevention, early detection, and the importance of routine skin examinations. She also brings nearly a decade of experience in aesthetic medicine, specializing in advanced facial rejuvenation through injectables, regenerative aesthetics, lasers, microneedling, and medical-grade chemical peels. Erin has been selected to educate fellow medical professionals for leading laser and injectable companies and is known for her philosophy of rejuvenation over augmentation, believing the best injectable is undetectable. Her goal is to help every patient achieve healthier skin while delivering natural, balanced results that enhance—not change—their natural features.

Outside of work, Erin enjoys spending time with her three children, gardening, canning, and loving on her miniature schnauzer, Odie.
