These Terms & Conditions (the "Terms") govern your use of maciasdermatology.com (the "Site"), operated by Macias Dermatology, the practice of Edgar S. Macias, M.D., located at 7115 N. Chestnut Ave. Suite 101, Fresno, CA 93720. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
The Site Is Not Medical Advice
The content on the Site is provided for general information only. It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for an examination, diagnosis, or treatment by a qualified physician or other licensed provider. Reading the Site, or contacting us through it, does not create a physician-patient relationship. Always seek the advice of your physician with any questions about a medical condition, and never disregard or delay professional medical advice because of something you read on the Site.

Treatment Information and Results

Appointments and Communications
Sending a message or an appointment request through the Site does not by itself schedule an appointment. An appointment is confirmed only when our office confirms it with you directly. Email and website communications are not secure channels; please do not send detailed medical information through them. Use the patient portal or call our office instead. Requests made through the website chat assistant, including call back requests, do not schedule an appointment.
Patient Portal, Payments, and Online Store
The Site links to third-party services we use, including our patient portal, our online payment service, and our online store. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies in addition to any agreements you have with us. Purchases made through the online store are subject to the store's own policies.
Intellectual Property
The Site and its content, including text, photographs, graphics, logos, and design, are owned by or licensed to Macias Dermatology and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may view, download, and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or your use of the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Fresno County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on the Site with its "Last updated" date, and your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
