Hailey Newberry

Hailey was born and raised in the Central Valley but decided to go away to the University of Florida where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health Education. She knew she wanted to be a PA, so she moved back to Fresno after graduating and decided to look for a job to gain patient care experience. She ended up getting a job as a Medical Assistant with Macias Dermatology. She fell in love with the specialty and decided to further her education at the University of the Pacific getting in Masters of Science in Physician Assistant.

After graduating, she joined Macias Dermatology now in a provider position as a Physician Assistant. Hailey focuses on building strong relationships with patients and helping them understand their skin conditions and treatment options. She loves that dermatology often offers immediate visual feedback, and appreciates being able to see the impact of her care right on a patient’s skin.

“It’s a specialty where science meets confidence and where improving someone’s skin can genuinely change their quality of life. Skin conditions can deeply affect how people see themselves and being able to restore their confidence is incredibly rewarding”.

Outside of work, Hailey enjoys traveling the world, trying new foods, and practicing Pilates. She loves spending time with her Bernedoodle dog named Benson, spending time with friends, and snowboarding.
