Shawn VanGronigen

Shawn VanGronigen is a Hanford native with deep roots in the community his father and grandparents built through multi-generational local businesses. He brings 15 years of specialized dermatology experience to Macias Dermatology, along with an additional 15 years as a Registered Respiratory Therapist – a dual clinical background that informs a thorough, patient-centered approach to skin health.

Shawn earned his degree from the University of California, Davis in 2010. He provides comprehensive medical dermatology care, including diagnosis and treatment of acne, psoriasis, eczema, and rashes, full-body skin exams, biopsies, and skin cancer removal.

Returning to practice in his hometown, Shawn is committed to building long-term patient relationships grounded in trust and personalized care. Outside the clinic, he spends his time with family – traveling, hiking, and fishing.
