Microneedling withPlatelet-Rich Plasma
Microneedling puts the skin's own repair system to work: controlled micro-injuries prompt fresh collagen and elastin, firming texture and softening scars with minimal downtime.
Putting the skin's repair system to work.
Changes in texture, firmness and tone were once considered an inevitability of aging. Microneedling, now one of the most established renewal treatments in cosmetic medicine, offers a direct answer.
It is a safe, versatile, year-round treatment, suitable for all skin types including darker skin tones, which sets it apart from many light-based alternatives.
How it works.
The device delivers controlled micro-injuries to the skin. The skin responds the only way it knows how: by producing new collagen and elastin. That initiated healing process improves texture and firmness and reduces the appearance of scars, pore size and stretch marks.
For enhanced repair, we offer microneedling with Platelet-Rich Plasma. A concentration of platelets drawn from your own blood, rich in growth factors, is introduced during treatment to expedite healing and activate tissue rejuvenation. It is particularly effective for skin damaged by acne or trauma scarring.
What to expect.
Improvements are realized over a series of treatments rather than a single visit, with minimal pain or discomfort along the way.
There is none of the extended downtime associated with more invasive procedures, which is why patients across Fresno and the Central Valley use it to maintain smoother, softer, younger-looking skin on an ongoing basis.
Is it right for you.
If texture, firmness, acne scarring, pore size or stretch marks are your concern, microneedling is one of the most broadly applicable treatments we offer, and one of the few renewal treatments equally suited to darker skin tones.
Talk to us about your skin and your goals. We will advise whether classic microneedling or the Platelet-Rich Plasma combination will serve them better.
Common questions.
A concentration of platelets prepared from a small sample of your own blood. Platelets are rich in growth factors, and adding them to a microneedling treatment expedites healing and enhances tissue rejuvenation.
Discomfort is minimal, and there is no extended downtime, which is much of the treatment's appeal compared with more invasive procedures.
Yes. Microneedling is safe for all skin types, including darker skin tones, and can be performed year-round.
Results build over a series of treatments. Your practitioner will recommend a plan based on the concerns being treated.
